Top 5 Ryan Giggs Goals Of All Time

Ryan Giggs has turned 40 today. And if you were born after the 1st of December 1991, then Giggs has been playing for Manchester United all of your life. Although we're not too fond of his antics off the pitch, on the pitch he has been one of the greatest players The Premier League and football itself has ever seen. So here are our five favourite goals of his glittering career.

5. Against Leeds (2011)

Okay, this may have only been a league cup goal against Leeds. But here's a goal that's quintessentially Giggs; running at the defence, a cheeky nutmeg, and finishing off with the outside of his left foot. And was only two years ago too.

4. Against West Ham (2009)

At 35,  Giggs was still an integral part of a league winning team containing talents such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez, and Dimitar Berbatov (when he was good). Also, he was awarded the PFA Player's Player of the Year that year.

3. Against Bolton (2003)

With David Beckham off to Real Madrid, Giggs returned as United's dead ball specialist. And was not a bad replacement either.

2. Against Tottenham (1992)

It was during his second season when he was nicknamed 'The Welsh Wizard', and awarded the first of his two consecutive  PFA Young Player of the Year honours.  Only won the league cup this year though- tut tut!

1. Against Arsenal  (1999)

This was Giggs' most successful season winning the treble of the FA Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League. A Maradona-esque goal from Giggs was what secured their place in the FA Cup final.
