Samsung's New Flip Phone Is Both Terribly Named And Beautiful

Did you hear the news? Flip phones are back, baby!

Well in South Korea anyhow. Samsung have released their latest flip phone to the Korean market, called the Folder Flip 2. A name only slight better than the previous Folder Flip 1. What it make lack in name it does however make up in beauty. This thing is slick AF and a throwback to the glory days of flip phones.

It comes in two colours. Pink:

And black. Which, for my money, looks even slicker.

While the idea of the flip phone is a throwback to a simpler time, it's spec certainly is not. This thing has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel lens on the back. It comes with a 2GB RAM and has storage expandable up to 256GB. It's battery life of 1,950 mAh is about the same as an iPhone 7.

Unfortunately it's not available in Ireland yet but never say never. The flip phone dream lives on!
