Mars and Snickers Protein Bars Are Now A Thing!

I vividly remember being 14, squeeeezing myself into a pair of tights and realising my 2 a day Snickers habit could no longer go on. This was a sad day as I regretfully waved goodbye to my child metabolism for the last time. I still enjoy the odd Mars now- I won't lie, but what about if you could enjoy a healthy(-er) version of your favorite bars? Now you can!

Mars have created a new version of the classic treat that is kiind of healthy because you can now buy Mars and Snickers protein bars. Game changing news, yes especially for all you gym rats. Apparently they taste exactly like the originals but are specifically designed to be a gym snack. These beauties are also under 200 calories each. The bars are widely available in stores now costing just under three euro, or £2.20.

Ok, so they aren't going to be better for you than other more natural protein rich foods, as they're still absolutely riddled with chocolate and caramel. When you get that craving though, it's good to know they exist and I personally can't wait to try them for myself.
